Aunt D moved back into her place last
nite and brought me home to my mom's house, later mom and I picked up Joe from work. We went grocery shopping since that was one of mom's conditions, that we buy our own food so we did. Of course we forgot the waffles but we have a bottle of Eggo's butter flavored
syrup -
mmm! I made chicken tacos after shredding some cooked chicken breast and jazzed up
refried beans on soft flour tortillas, just the way Joe likes. Dinner went over well. Joe and I watched "Bug" what a
trippy movie - I am just surprised Agnes didn't know that "THAT I AM THE MOTHER BUG!" Then crashed out and I slept in until two today, until Joe kept telling me "I'm hungry can we get up?" So I got up, cleaned up and cooked the two other chicken breasts for chicken salad
sandwiches which my mom and Joe loved - I insisted on a bowl of Golden Crisps instead.
Tonight's dinner was salmon and it was
soo fresh and delicious! Aunt D gave it to us, so I was sure to call and thank her for it. After dinner Joe and I put the movie "El
Orphanato" in and that was pretty good, not really scary though. It was funny that my mom couldn't understand why we would get a movie in
Spanish...
Tomorrow, I have a Dr.'s
appt for my back. I guess I am getting checked to see if I am clear to get in the pool but I don't really know so I will write about that tomorrow. Today is Sunday and it has just been a good day of rest and I am thankful.
