Cold to The Bone

Joe and I have been up since between 5am and 6:30 am. There was a doctor's appointment that needed to be attended, it went well surprisingly well. We only had trouble determining a route via bus so my sister took us in her vehicle. Getting home was the hard part it seemed no matter how far we walked or how long we waited and even more how many times I looked at the bus schedule, no bus would come. This goat fuck took a couple of hours in itself, finally the bus we needed arrived and we walked home after I pulled the stop to late. Only to find, that I dropped the house key in my sister's truck somewhere and had to go knocking door to door. After about six houses, a nice old man let me use his phone and then my sister was on her way! We waited for about fifteen minutes on the patio listening to the dogs bark at us. I was so cold I had to soak in a bathtub filled with hot water only. I'm tired and I can't sleep not to mention there is so much to do on my two days off, I want to make the best use of them.

Brrr! It's Chilly!

It's chilly even though the snow is melting down, I wish I had borrowed the digital camera to take photos of the snow on the trees. Everything was just so white! My sister took us out for monthly bus passes where Joe and I nearly knocked the man selling them out. Evidently, we are just four days away from being pro-rated down to the half month prices! What a jip! So she paid $100.00 for the both of us and it's not even a full months worth, Joe and I will be touring Anchorage just to make the purchase justified. Not to mention, all of the doctor appointments and such that we will be attending.

My sister is making stuffed manicotti with spinach and other goodies like ricotta cheese, I think I saw pie too! Mmm, sounds really good since I am so chilly right now. Joe is snoozing away and I am half tempted to climb in bed with him and warm up if you know what I mean ;) But, I won't - he needs his sleep. I sure do love him though.
