Today has been a crazy chaotic mess. It was supposed to be payday. I was initially told that my leave of absence would be covered by my vacation hours (35) and whatever was left of my sick days (4) With this in mind, I figured since so many weeks have passed this time would have been processed already; I was wrong. I woke and logged into my online banking account to find out I did not get paid! I spent the day at work frantically trying to generate a paycheck, with no luck. I'm still getting the run around about when, how and if I should be getting one for such time or not. My store manager will be contacting payroll about it tomorrow. Grr.
Not to mention I had a bill that had to be paid today! Lucky for me I was able to get it done with a little help and an hour long lunch.
My daughter has went to her friend's place as part of her normal weekend routine, so I have a little time to sit back and relax. It's been a hectic, worrisome day but now it's all over and I can watch some of my favorite TV. I need a blanket though, we still need space heaters! Brrr!
