I have bought a new monitor and I just LOVE it. You see, I had too when my very old and dusty not to mention crusty Compaq piece of crap laptop died. It literally died. No operating system to be found and no installing one because apparently my hard drive decided to crawl out of it's old shell in search of a new and younger piece of crap laptop shell.
I initially looked at monitors at Best Buy before Christmas and they only had a few choices which didn't excite me, then I made the mistake of going to Fry's Electronics. Never again, NEVER again - I don't even want to talk about it. I tried Best Buy's again and picked up a better monitor at a better price and voila! I am happy and online again. It's a 19" wide screen LCD monitor from LG, I am no longer in the stone ages folks and it feels great :)
Now, thanks to everyone who has been worried about my spider bite! It's gone, it took awhile but it was infected pretty bad. We get a lot of spiders here from black widows, hobo/funnel web spiders and more so I am pretty used to them. I had to remove the infection and once that happened my elbow healed up instead of falling off. I like my elbow.
