Hey everyone! (If there is anyone still around.)
I am here. I've been here.. well sorta here just not writing in my little online diary. I just kinda needed another one of my notorious hiatusessss *spelling. I have some free time this evening so I thought I would tie myself to my desk chair and force out an entry. Now, it's not that I don't want to talk to you, it's just that I am having a problem with commitment lately of all kinds. Quite frankly, I have a short attention span that often develops into a flaky behavioral pattern. Anywhoo, here's the lowdown on some of the things going on in my little world.
Flashback to April 6Th!! My birthday (and the day the food court opened in the mall - woo.) I spent the whole week pretty much working employee-less and working from open 10am to close 9pm by myself stuck in one spot at my kiosk. That's not so bad you say? Try getting up at 7am to get ready for work, leaving at 8:30am to walk to your bus stop which you won't catch until 9:00am and getting to work half an hour early only to get bathroom breaks and sell sell sell until 9:00pm and then run to your bus stop to get home at about 10:30pm. That was like a majorly long run on sentence and I didn't even include the part about walking down the home street with no streetlights or a sidewalk on your sore tootsies. Oh yeah, back to my birthday - I had to work, I was sick (first time in forever) and the best part of the work day was a security officer bought me a chocolate bar (even though I don't like chocolate) from Sees candy and I got diarrhea seeing how I ate it considering I was starving.
When I got home, Angel and her BFF had balloons inflated and my room decorated. They also had a carrot cake (my favorite) and sang "Happy Birthday" to me. Plus I got a Nolie soft three quarter length sleeve t-shirt which I adore. Ooh! I almost forgot another highlight was a dear friend from Israel sang "Happy Birthday" to me in Hebrew!!! and I got a kiss on the cheek - can't beat that with a stick if you ask me!
Work - Is going pretty OK. It's had it's ups & downs. I love my job and my new employees it's just been a hassle getting everything together and learning how to be the sole manager of a business of which many people mistake me as the owner of. I really want to perfect myself in this role and see it succeed, at least we have exceeded our monthly sales goal each month I managed.
The Kid - is turning 16! on the 14! I am running crazy trying to come up with something special (because I can't give her a car like she requested.) I hope it's a good birthday nonetheless! Time is just flying by and pretty soon she will be off on her own and that will make me terrible sad :(
